You are the Paci Queen

We didn't need a whole lot of proof that Bella is in love with her paci. When she is sleepy she says, "Mommy, I need my paci". Oh, and it's worse than that now... she requests particular colors. Believe me, part of me feels like when a child is requesting a certain color for her paci it's time to go, but it is going to be painful to separate this child from her paci. Just like it's name and function, it is comfort for her. She puts that thing in her mouth and cuddles up with her blankie and most of the time looks like she can't think of anywhere she'd rather be.

The other day her Nana and I heard her singing in the back of the car..."See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the PACI QUEEN".

Our rule is that she keeps the paci in her bed, but when she is really sleepy (or really cheeky maybe), she will pull her blankets and paci from her crib and drag them around the house.

Here is the sleepy head PACI QUEEN getting her own way last night!

Cutest AND most clever baby ever!

Matthew does the same exact thing: asks for certain colors...pulls them and his blankets out of his crib when he is sleepy and/or cuddly...he even uses that brand! (Just not the pink ones.) Could this be destiny?? ;)

That would be Nana that thinks she is the cutest and cleverest, I just know it. But she is correct. Until mine come along, that is. Heehee.
We used to say "Don't worry, he won't be sucking his thumb when he goes to k-garten". Then "Don't worry, he won't be...when he goes to High School". Then "Don't worry, he certainly won't walk down the aisle..."
