The Day we Moved to Cambridge

One year ago today Mike, Bella and I managed to leave our little flat on McDonald Road at 6:45 am after 2.5 weeks of about an hour of sleep per night. We took a taxi to the airport and waved goodbye to the Castle and our two years in Edinburgh.

Not too many hours later we arrived at our new home, Tyndale House greeted by our new friends the Reeves. What a warm welcome. We knew we had some happy months ahead.

I love this picture below. Bella of course is darling, and you can see the Easy Jet label like we took her as carry-on!


Happy new parents survived the move.


Our friend Emma Craig who came along with her husband to help us. What a blessing. Can you believe I miss those brown curtains? Bella spent hours looking at those things.
