Tomorrow is a big day in our house- Bella starts PreK! Because we moved, Bella will be starting at a new school.
I honestly feel the Lord gave me a HUGE gift by having Bella born in September. I get a whole extra year of her at home with me. She is almost 5, but she missed the deadline to start kindergarten. I would in no way be prepared to send her off to school full days 5 days a week, which is what kindergarten will be next year!
We just started a new reading program at home, and I have no worries about Bella academically. However when I saw her class list, I could not help feeling disappointed. There are only 2 other girls in her class, and Bella is the oldest by far. (okay, there is one older boy). Last year, even with a September birthday she was still almost right in the middle. I am hoping that I will soon realize this is a silly thing to be disappointed about, and that she loves her teacher and her class and it is a fabulous year!

I love her pose on the sign! She is going to do so well in prek! And I can't believe there are only two other girls!! Let me know how it goes (for both of you!)
