We Have a Trigger

About 24 hours before leaving to visit my family in Pennsylvania we became fairly confident that Bella is allergic to cats.
True enough lots of people including Mike, my dad and brother are allergic to cats, but this is particularly a problem because we are about to stay 3 weeks with my parents who have a cat.
It was a blessing to find this out before leaving because I wasn't planning on bringing the nebulizer and the other two medications. (For those medically minded people she is on Singulair everyday and Pulmicort and Albuteral (sp?) are what go through the nebulizer. They also told us to start her on Clariton.)

*We are not sure of the severity of the allergy. We are not sure she will be able to stay at my parent's house even after the huge clean up my parents are probably doing right now.
*If the allergy is controlled by medication which is really the best case scenario, Bella's personality is GREATLY effected by the other 2 meds. It is hard to see her so different. She becomes very distant, so we really miss her. Also, we want my family to enjoy the amazing little girl she is!

We don't want to borrow trouble, but it's looking like a challenge is ahead of us.

Bella and I are leaving tomorrow morning. We have a layover in Chicago. Without any delays it is a long day. With a forecast of snow in I believe all three states, we may never end up in PA anyway! I am just going to try and enjoy the time with her and hope we meet some really nice people along the way who find her irresistable. :) Mike is coming on the 19th.

We look forward to seeing my family minus Sophie, the cat.

Um, I think NOW would be a good time to clear Sophie of all quickly cast dispersions.
