One Year Ago

One year ago on September 13, 2006, Mike and I took an hour and a half walk through Newtown, Stockbridge and Dean Village. About an hour and a half after we returned, my water broke! And that was the beginning of the arrival of Bella Mae.

One year ago as I write this, it was already September 14 in Edinburgh. I was walking the halls of the Royal Infirmary praying this baby would arrive soon (that's the modified version of the story)!

She was born at 9:50am London time which is 3:50am Central Time. So should you awake in the middle of the night you can wish Bella a happy birthday.

Tonight we celebrated with my parents with homemade (by her Nana) ice cream. My parents are here, but my dad leaves in the morning. We will have a little party tomorrow night as well.

I can not believe my baby is one year old. What an amazing year it has been!

Enjoying "new milk" with her dad. (cow's milk)

Last day of her first year.

She loves her Zayde.

Ice Cream is cold!
