St. Patrick's Day Party

We had a little St Patrick's Day party yesterday for the kids and their friends (ranging in age from 15 months- 5 years). I did not get a single picture during the party, so no cute pictures of my kids in their green outfits. And no pictures of the amazing snacks that were brought! We had rainbow fruit kebabs, fruity pebble "rice" crispy treats, green yogurt with nilla wafers, sour patch grapes, some green veg and ranch dressing and apple juice boxes.

We talked about St. Patrick and how he is thought to have brought Christianity to Ireland. The shamrock is an illustration of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We did a shamrock hunt. If you found a shamrock with your name on it, you were "lucky" and you got a prize!

We did Lucky Bingo with gold coins as markers.

We did a felt shamrock match-up. You had to find the colored hearts and recreate a shamrock.

A friend was responsible for craft, and we made our kids into these darling leprechauns!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Here's a couple of not-very-good phone pictures. I love how Bella is pointing exactly like you are :-)
