Second Child Woes

I have totally dropped the ball preparing developmental activities for William. No more! He played with (homemade!) play dough for the first time this week. (in all fairness, the kid puts everything in his mouth, so I have been hesitant to do painting and play dough with him.)

Today: Digging for dinosaurs with rice and beans.

I hid the dinosaurs and he went digging for them. But he also just played around with it. I love watching him be creative. He starting feeding the dinosaurs the beans!

Finding pieces of the nativity set in bows and bells. This was so precious, I wanted to play and enjoy and not take too many pictures. As he found each piece, he was SO proud, setting up the display next to the bin on the table. His favorite were the "BAA"s (sheep). He also liked taking out the bells and jingling!

I realized how this age is going to be a lot of fun, and I don't have to be TOO sad that my baby is growing up. I'm postponing being sad for another year!

I might just steal that dinosaur idea, Mason loves dinos (likes to roar) and how much fun does that look! Good idea!
