Half-Pint Academy

When I first told Bella we were going to do special preschoool work now that she is 3 she was very disappointed that she wasn't going to be able to use a backpack and go to real school. Homeschooling also doesn't seem to be in the future for this child. Mike and I learned early on that we can't be her Sunday School teacher. She receives RAVE reviews each week from other teachers, but when we are in her room she tends to be very silly and show-off! Even when I am going over stuff with her at home she often pretends she doesn't know the answer or that she is too sleepy to go on!

Despite this we are actually having fun doing preschool. I am using material from these helpful websites:

Hubbard's Cupboard
Kid Zone
The Perpetual Preschool

Why is she wearing a nametag that says, "Jake"? She tends to go through all my church stuff and claim it for her own.
Identifying shapes

Finding letters to make an alphabet book.

Decorating letters

And the yummiest part- eating alphabet cookies! (I only let her eat the ones she could identify!)

So cute, Shayna! What a neat idea. Matthew knows all his letters, so I suppose maybe I should be encouraging him to learn more.
Bella sounds like such a ham! I wish I could meet her. =)
Hey, did you get those alphabet cookies at Trader Joes?
