Happy Father's Day to Bella's daddy too!
Mike not only is a great dad, but he loves being a dad too.
He always comes when I call him to see something Bella is doing/ has done. Most recently this was when I found Bella asleep in our bed wearing my nightgown, with her pajamas nicely thrown on the floor below.
He always listens and laughs at the stories/ cute things Bella says while he was gone.
He takes Bella in the woodshop and lets her "help". She even has her own hammer.
He reads her stories and sings her songs. For some reason her favorite is his interpretation of "We Three Kings".
He takes her on daddy dates and spoils her with ice cream and perfectly useless toys like bouncy balls, bubbles and fairy wands, which she loves.
He lets her eat chips, which she will usually give me a really smug look while she is eating, or even go so far as to open her mouth and show me that she is eating chips.
When I asked Bella what she loves doing most with daddy, she of course said, "Daddy Dates!". When I asked her what she likes to do on daddy dates she replied, "Have a lollipop!" Which just goes to show it is the simple things in life that bring the most happiness, well at least for now.
